Job Opening. Working on outdoor backyard fish ponds. Repair, maintenance and installation. Must be willing to work outside in summer heat, cold and light rain. Good with hand tools, measuring and trouble shooting. Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs. Will train via a online university and hands-on experience. Interest in or experience with aquarium fish or ponds is a plus!
This job is perfect for those that prefer a outdoor setting. The job is diverse as each day is a little different with the variety of ponds that we service. I would describe this job as part landscape maintenance, part swimming pool service tech and part landscape installer. There is also some light warehouse work and organizing of tools, equipment and vehicles.
The daily job is a mix of maintenance, repair and installation. One day we might be cleaning a couple ponds (power washing and picking out leaves) and the next few days we may be installing a new water feature.
You will be joining a tight knit, small team of people who truly love their career! Your primary role will be to help the maintenance team clean ponds in Spring. Once summer set in we do more small repairs and new installations.
Expectations Of Candidate:
-Follow instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain the schedule.
-Be on time and be prepared to actively learn.
-Must be willing to work in inclement weather.
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
-Must have drivers license and be able to provide your own transportation to jobsites when needed.
-Be ok getting dirty, especially during spring cleaning season Late Feb thru early June.
Experience with aquarium fish or ponds is a plus.
Good driving history and ability to keep a clean driving record.
Pay $14-$18 per hour 35-40 hours per week Immediate openings - Buford location-near downtown historic Buford
Hours are from 8:30am to 5-6pm
